We are most proud to announce Macro Group is the winner of the KAIZEN™ 2021 Award for “Excellence in Innovation”, awarded for the 1st time to an SME.

The Kaizen Institute Western Europe awards this prize in Portugal in partnership with CEIIA – Center of Engineering and Product Development.

Innovation has been present in Macro Group's DNA since its foundation back in 1988, when Mário Rebelo started the first Group's unit, with the ambition of improving the mold production process, through distinctive and efficient solutions.

With the LASER4AMTT project, which aims to develop and implement, using laser techniques, both a system for hardening complex surfaces and 3D deposition, we won the KAIZEN™ award mentioned above.

Macro Group publicly congratulates Mário Rebelo, as well as all other Macro Group team members involved in the project, and ESAN – Escola Superior Aveiro Norte, our partner in this challenge.
